Capitol Technology University (formerly Capitol College) may be a personal, nonprofit, interdenominational, regionally-accredited[6] university northeast of Washington, DC. it's set on fifty two acres in unorganized  South Laurel, Maryland in aristocrat George's County, west of the Baltimore–Washington drive between Laurel-Bowie Road to the north and Powder Mill Road to the south.

The university was based in 1927 because the Capitol Radio Engineering Institute by a former USN Radioman. CREI modified its name to Capitol Institute of Technology in 1964, modified its name once more to Capitol school in 1987, and assumed its gift name in 2014. Capitol offers collegian and graduate programs specializing in engineering, applied science, info technology, and business. Capitol's Carnegie Classification is Special Focus Institutions—Schools of Engineering.

Capitol Radio Engineering Institute
Capitol Technology University was originally based in 1927 because the Capitol Radio Engineering Institute, a school, by Eugene H. Rietzke, a u.  s.
